Designated Prints (Dodger) is a 1997 sorrel tovero
stallion. APHA/PtHA
He is homozygous for the tobiano pattern, and is OLWS
negative. He is 16.3 hands. He has an excellent
disposition. Dodger was injured soon after being readied
to show , and was unable to prove his own show
potential.
He is by the popular stallion Designated Hitter, a
homozygous sire of superior halter and performance
horses as well as World Show Champions. Designated
Prints' bloodlines also include APHA champion, Hit Man,
the legendary APHA Supreme Champion, Sky Bug Bingo, as
well as the great Walters Chick. He also goes back to
the Weiscamp family of paint horses through Skips Lad
and Skip Hi. His pedigree also includes the
extraordinary sire Three Bars-- 10 (ten) times!!!!!!!!!
He has had a limited number of foals prior to our owning
him, but has produced a weanling futurity champion, a
Longe Line Curcuit champion, and a PtHA World Show top
10 in 2 year old Western Pleasure.
His current foals are big, beautiful, calm, easy to
train, all great movers,and of course, all Paints!
We were looking for a quality stallion that was
homozygous. We found that in Designated Prints, and we
believe that his potential as a sire of Western
Pleasure, Hunt Seat, Hunter Jumper etc is unlimited. We
believe in him enough to put together a great band of
broodmares of our own to breed to him including own
daughters of Zippo Pine Bar, Zippos MrGoodBar, Zips
Chocolate Chip, and Sacred Indian
